The holidays are one of the best times of the year for dancing. Of course, for dance lovers, any time of year is the best time for dancing. Any place, any time.
The nice part of the holiday season, though, is that dancers can find an audience just about everywhere, and since performing for an audience is one of the sublime pleasures of dance, it’s a favorite time of year.
Taking the students to performances of Tschaikovsky’s Nutcracker, performing our own holiday program for our studio audience and for going to holiday concerts.
I can’t do that right now, but I can pull out some of the music my students danced to and remember . . .
