January 1, 2020.
Mark your calendar with that date and then click over to the National Breast Cancer Coalition to learn more about their commitment for mobilizing resources to put an end to breast cancer by the deadline.
NBCC will hold a conference for members to learn more about advocating for breast cancer, including public policy and funding for much needed research. The conference will be held April 30 through May 3, 2011, in Washington DC.
With the current annual rate of death by breast cancer in the U.S. (40,000), we need more than awareness. It is time to learn how to become advocates in the eradication of breast cancer. Some of us with stage IV breast cancer would love to be advocates, but sometimes dealing with the disease is more than we can handle. We need family members, friends and colleagues who can advocate on our behalf.
If you know of anyone with interest in becoming a vital part of NBCC’s challenge to meet the deadline to end breast cancer, please share this message with them.
And remember to share with your friends on Facebook and Twitter.
