In recent months I’ve heard that my (metastatic) breast cancer is “technically curable”, that I have the “good kind” of cancer, and that somehow I’m “lucky”. Then a commenter on one of the blogs told all of us that we need to “get over it” and deal with our breast cancer “hangups”. First I was speechless, then I got mad. And then I blogged. If this is where “awareness” has gotten us to, then the breast cancer movement has failed miserably.
I’m totally… staggered. And speechless.
By both your ‘report’ and Anna’s.
