Slept three hours, not enough to put a spring in one’s step. At 6:00 am a platoon of medical staff came in waves finishing with my medical team. Lots of speculation but probably a nasty UTI. Possible c-diff but seems unlikely with today’s development.
Shingles is an airborne infection, so complete isolation is in effect from gowns, gloves and masks to the claustrophobic closed door. Also, Donna is receiving a strong antibiotic for the UTI. Still very weak and not really able to do PT. Team chief told PT too early since Donna’s breathing was so labored today. No power yoga today.
Lots of blood tests and Ultra-Sounds. No word on results.

  3. Hugs to both of you 🙂 Hard enough to be back in the hospital but even harder to be so isolated!! Prayers are on their way.

  4. Donna isn’t alone in that room. We are all with her in spirit.

  6. Thanks for letting us know how she is doing. When you can, give her hugs, and tell her that her Decorah family is praying for you both. Gail Date: Fri, 22 Mar 2013 04:54:26 +0000 To: ggarden3953@hotmail.com
